The Postini Threat Identification Network blocks messages coming from specific IP addresses based on observed, malicious behavior. This means that your company is protected as soon as a new threat is detected anywhere on the network. Because the blocks are based on real-time IP traffic analysis, your protection does not need to wait for spam, virus, or worm signatures.

The Postini Anti-Spam Engine (PASE) is a heuristic framework, developed by Postini to analyze the content of messages and learn as spammers present new threats.
